Can the Toronto Raptors keep up with the Golden State Warriors?
The Toronto Raptors are still in the midst of a five-game winning streak and are on the cusp of an NBA title chase.
However, a few teams on the list are already making moves, and one of them is the Chicago Bulls.
The Bulls have a chance to win a second straight NBA title with a win on Saturday.
But the Raptors have been one of the best teams in the league for a while now, so they are certainly on the bubble to get back in the mix.
Here’s a look at the Raptors’ chances.
Can the Bulls keep pace?
While the Raptors are in the same situation as the Warriors, the Bulls have only won two games in five nights.
That’s not a huge jump from a month ago, but it’s still a step down from the 10-1 start they had a year ago.
They have a huge game against the Warriors on Saturday, but they’ll also need a huge win on Sunday if they want to get within a game of the Cavaliers.
And Chicago will also need to get past the Raptors to make the playoffs.
Can Golden State keep up?
The Warriors have won 10 of their last 12 games against the Raptors.
Golden State has also won six of its last seven games in the series.
However the Warriors have only gone on two three-game losing streaks since they were swept by the Lakers in 2014.
Their only win in those six games was a loss to the Timberwolves on Dec. 10.
So while Golden State is on a four-game win streak, the Raptors could be the one team to beat.
If they can keep the Cavs out of the paint and keep their defense consistent, Golden State could keep the Raptors on their heels.
However if they can’t find a way to score in the paint, the Cavaliers could have a tough time winning.
