Maryland basketball fans who bet big in the 2016 playoffs could have a chance to win the 2020 title.
On Thursday, ESPN’s basketball team Betfair released its first-ever NBA odds and betting predictions.
According to Betfair, the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers are the two favorites to win their respective conferences.
However, the betting site says the Knicks are the favorites because they have a lot of star power on offense and are a much better bet to win a title.
The Knicks are also projected to win three of their final four games and have the best odds to win in the East.
Betfair’s projections are based on the latest betting odds from four betting experts who have studied the Knicks and Pacers, who have a combined winning percentage of just 19.8 percent.
In the West, the Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz, and Golden State Warriors have a winning percentage higher than the Knicks.
However: “Betfair has made significant improvements to their betting model since last year’s slate of betting predictions,” Betfair wrote.
“While we think that the odds are far more favorable for the Knicks, we would not bet on them as a contender.
The odds for the Warriors are much more favorable, with the odds going to the Warriors now holding a slight edge over the Knicks.”
According to the NBA, the Knicks have the fifth-best odds to make the playoffs, followed by the Celtics, the Cavaliers, the Heat, and the Spurs.
The Warriors have the sixth-best chance of making the playoffs.
